Terms & Conditions

As a client of Scoopie Doo's Pet Waste Removal, you are responsible for the following:

  1. Maintaining safe access into and out of the yard. If we're unable to clean due to access, you'll be put down for double doody the following week.
  2. Immediate notification of any changes in the number of pets.
  3. Ensuring payment information is up to date and funds are available when monthly invoices are charged on the 1st of every month.

Billing

All payments are due on the first of the month, with the exception of the first billing cycle. On the first cycle, invoices will be prorated (if necessary) and charged prior to the regularly scheduled cleanup. Initial cleanings and regular services are invoiced separately. Regular monthly payments process on the 1st.

If no payment is received by the 5th, scheduled cleanings are suspended until paid. A $5 late fee is added for payments not received by the 5th. If the 1st falls on a holiday, invoices charge the next business day. Invoices unpaid for 3 weeks deactivate the account; reinstatement requires a call to the office and payment in full before scheduling.

We do not refund or discount for missed weeks due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances — anything that accumulates is picked up on double-doody days.

Add-On Services

Current clients may request additional one-time or drop-in cleanings. Add-on cleanings are $20 and paid before the scheduled service. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required. Add-on or drop-in services are not available for one-time-only or commercial clients.

Holiday Service

We observe: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. If your scheduled service day falls on an observed holiday, you'll be rescheduled to the following week for double doody.

Inclement Weather and Yard Conditions

Heavy rain, snow, below-freezing temps, extreme heat, or severe wind may make it unsafe or impossible to service. When that happens, we'll service the following week for double doody (or the next available day if scheduling allows). We notify by phone, message, or email (web portal, email, or text).

We operate year-round. With snow under 0.5", we still service and pick up everything visible. Waste hidden under leaves, snow, or encapsulated in ice is picked up once melted or cleared.

For yards with heavy debris or clutter: we are not responsible for moving leaves, weeds, trash, furniture, or other large objects to look for waste. Visible waste in the yard will be picked up.

Initial Cleanings

Initial cleanings are scheduled once account setup is complete and a payment method is on file. The charge is made the day prior to the service. Pricing is subject to change. Scheduling is based on open route availability.

Waste Disposal

All pet waste removed from the yard is double-bagged and disposed of in the client's trash bins. We do not haul waste off the property.

Pausing Services

If your pet(s) won't be using the yard for a period (vacation, illness, etc.), please let us know as soon as possible and we'll pause the service.

Aggressive Animals

We love dogs and will gladly service the yard with your dogs present. If a dog shows signs of aggression and won't let our tech into the yard, the tech will attempt to contact you (knock/ring, then call or text). If there's no response, the visit is skipped and we return the following week. If this happens more than twice, the client is removed from the route entirely — for the safety of the tech and the animal. Ensuring safe access is the client's responsibility; refunds are not issued for inaccessible yards.

Service Days

To increase route efficiency, clients are scheduled by ZIP code and/or area.

Additional

  • We assume no liability for damages to yards, gates, pets, or other property.
  • Fees and promotions are subject to change. You'll be notified at least two (2) weeks prior to any changes.
  • Either party may terminate service (in writing) at any time. Unpaid balances are due within 15 days.

By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
